Unit Three. The focus of this unit is to understand and recognize that there are many learning designs that can lead to improved teaching and learning. Teachers learn in different ways, just as students do, so it is important to realize that no single method of professional development will be effective for all teachers.

The expected learner outcomes are:
  1. Provide a rationale for using multiple learning designs.
  2. Identify at least five to seven learning designs appropriate for one of their professional learning goals.
  3. Draft a professional learning plan using a variety of learning designs.
